Opinions & Orders – April 29, 2024

This morning, the Federal Circuit released a precedential opinion in a pro se case appealed from the Court of Federal Claims. The Federal Circuit affirmed the lower court’s dismissal for lack of jurisdiction. The Federal Circuit also released a nonprecedential opinion in a patent case. Notably, Judge Dyk dissented in part. The court also released two other nonprecedential opinions, one in another case dismissed by the Court of Federal Claims for lack of jurisdiction and one in an appeal from a judgment of the Merit Systems Protection Board. This morning, the Federal Circuit released two precedential opinions in patent cases, one affirming a judgment of unpatentability in an inter partes review and one reversing a judgment of unpatentability in another inter partes review. Opinions & Orders – February 8, 2022

This morning the Federal Circuit issued a precedential opinion in a patent case. In the opinion, the court explains why it reversed a district court’s denial of a motion for a preliminary injunction and remanded the case for entry of the preliminary injunction. The Federal Circuit also issued a nonprecedential opinion in a patent case. This opinion addresses the court’s appellate jurisdiction, concluding that the appropriate venue for the appeal is the Ninth Circuit. The Federal Circuit released an accompanying nonprecedential order transferring the appeal. Finally, the court issued two Rule 36 Judgments.
