Here is an update on recent activity at the Supreme Court in cases decided by the Federal Circuit. There are currently no pending cases. As for pending petitions, since our last update one new petition was filed in a pro se case and one waiver of the right to respond to a petition was filed in another pro se case. Here is an update on recent activity at the Supreme Court in cases decided by the Federal Circuit. There are currently no pending cases. As for pending petitions, since our last update, four new petitions were filed in a government contract case, a patent case, and two pro se cases; one waiver of the right to respond to a petition was filed in a case originally decided by the Merit Systems Protection Board; two reply briefs were filed in a takings case and a patent case; and the Supreme Court denied three petitions in a trade case, a takings case, and a veterans case. Opinions & Orders – November 7, 2025

This morning, the Federal Circuit released three nonprecedential opinions and three Rule 36 judgments. All three opinions come in pro se appeals. Two come in appeals of decisions of the Merit Systems Protection Board, and one comes in an appeal of a decision of the Court of Federal Claims. Opinions & Orders – December 11, 2024

Late yesterday the Federal Circuit released five nonprecedential orders. One denies a petition for a writ of mandamus, one transfers a case, two dismiss appeals, and one grants an agreed motion to remand a case. Today the Federal Circuit released three nonprecedential opinions and eight nonprecedential orders. Two of the opinions affirm decisions of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, while the third affirms a decision of the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. One of the orders denies a petition, four transfer appeals, one dismisses an appeal, one denies a petition for a writ of mandamus, and one grants an agreed motion to remand a case.
