This morning, the Federal Circuit released three opinions, one precedential opinion in a takings case and two nonprecedential opinions in patent cases addressing, respectively, claim construction and non-obviousness. Late yesterday and this morning, the court also released four nonprecedential orders dismissing appeals, one for lack of jurisdiction. Late yesterday and this morning, the Federal Circuit released two nonprecedential opinions: one in a patent case appealed from the Patent Trial and Appeal Board and one in a tax case appealed from the Court of Federal Claims. The Federal Circuit also released eight nonprecedential orders: one summarily affirming a dismissal for lack of jurisdiction by the Court of Federal Claims, two transferring cases to other circuit courts, one deactivating and dismissing appeals, and four dismissing appeals. This morning, the Federal Circuit released three nonprecedential opinions, one summary affirmance, and four orders dismissing appeals. The nonprecedential opinions affirm a judgment of the Court of Federal Claims dismissing a pro se case for lack of jurisdiction, a judgment of the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims affirming a dismissal by the Board of Veterans’ Appeals for lack of jurisdiction, and a judgment of the Merit Systems Protection Board dismissing an appeal for lack of subject matter jurisdiction.
