This morning the Federal Circuit released two nonprecedential opinions. The first reverses a determination of the Court of Federal Claims that a breach of contract claim was barred by the statute of limitations, vacates the remainder of the lower court’s decision, and remands for further proceedings. The second opinion affirms a dismissal by the Merit Systems Protection Board. Here are the introductions to the opinions.
Petro Mex, LLC v. United States (Nonprecedential)
Petro Mex, LLC (Petro Mex) appeals a decision of the United States Court of Federal Claims. For the following reasons, we reverse the Court of Federal Claims’ determination that Petro Mex’s breach of contract claim is barred by the statute of limitations. We vacate the remainder of the Court of Federal Claims’ decision and remand for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
