This morning, the Federal Circuit released three nonprecedential opinions and two nonprecedential orders. All three of the opinions address pro se appeals—two opinions dismiss for lack of jurisdiction and one affirms a final order of the Merit Systems Protection Board. The orders are dismissals. Harris v. United States (Nonprecedential Opinion)
James La Vell Harris, a.k.a. Smiley James Harris, appeals from the U.S. Court of Federal Claims’ dismissal of his complaint for lack of subject-matter jurisdiction. We affirm.
Wright v. McDonough (Nonprecedential Opinion)
Mr. Rodney Keith Wright appeals an order of the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (Veterans Court) denying in part and dismissing in part Mr. Wright’s petition for extraordinary relief. Wright v. McDonough, No. 23-0196, 2023 WL 4175143, at *11 (Vet. App. June 26, 2023) (Order). We affirm the Veterans Court’s order denying the petition and dismiss the parts of Mr. Wright’s appeal over which we do not have jurisdiction.
Bagat v. Office of Personnel Management (Nonprecedential Opinion)
Gregorio M. Bagat (“Bagat”), a federal employee from 1971 until 1992, petitions for review of a March 21, 2023 final order of the Merit Systems Protection Board (“Board”) denying his application for deferred annuity retirement benefits under the Civil Service Retirement System (“CSRS”). For the following reasons, we affirm.
