This morning, the Federal Circuit released a nonprecedential opinion in a pro se case appealed from the Court of Federal Claims. The Federal Circuit also released two nonprecedential orders: one granting a motion to withdraw an appeal and one dismissing an appeal. Here are the introductions to the opinion and order and a link to the dismissal.
Adera v. United States (Nonprecedential)
Plaintiff-Appellant Hailu Adera appeals from a decision of the United States Court of Federal Claims (“Claims Court”) dismissing his claims as barred by the statute of limitations. Adera v. United States, 155 Fed. Cl. 553 (2021) (“Decision”). Because Mr. Adera’s claims are time barred, we affirm.
Slater v. McDonough (Nonprecedential Opinion)
Upon consideration of ECF No. 4, which is construed as a motion to voluntarily withdraw this appeal pursuant to Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure 42(b), see ECF No. 5, and the Appellee’s response at ECF No. 6,
IT IS ORDERED THAT:
(1) The motion is granted. The appeal is withdrawn.
(2) The parties shall bear their own costs.
