Opinions

This morning, the Federal Circuit released two nonprecedential opinions, one nonprecedential order granting a summary affirmance, and two nonprecedential orders dismissing appeals. The opinions come in a case appealed from the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and a case appealed from the Merit Systems Protection Board, respectively. Here are the introductions to the opinions and links to the summary affirmance and dismissals.

Jackson Family Farms, LLC v. Grands Domaines Du Littoral (Nonprecedential)

Jackson Family Farms, LLC (“opposer”) appeals from a Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (“Board”) decision dismissing its opposition to a trademark application filed by Grands Domaines Du Littoral (“applicant”). The Board determined that as a matter of law there is no likelihood of confusion between applicant’s mark and opposer’s mark. We affirm.

Senence v. Office of Personnel Management (Nonprecedential)

Damian F. Senence appeals from a final decision of the Merit Systems Protection Board (the “Board”) denying his request for retirement benefits under the Civil Service Retirement System (“CSRS”). We affirm.
