This past Friday, the Federal Circuit announced an order closing the court on Friday, November 27, 2020, immediately following the Thanksgiving federal holiday on Thursday, November 26, 2020. Here is the text of the order.
By order of the Chief Judge, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will be closed on Friday, November 27, 2020, in addition to the federal holiday of Thursday, November 26, 2020.
For purposes of computation of time and motions to enlarge time under Federal Rule of Appellate Procedure and Federal Circuit Rule 26, November 27, 2020, will be considered a “legal holiday.”
